Excellent article Dan Knight. Agree that election is needed now. But you know how Canadian politics work and just how much clout we underlings have--absolute ZERO. This is complicity and corruption at it's Liberal best. The propaganda to get Carney in power was just a start. We have no option but to wait until September, if there are other ways, please let us all know.

My boomer father’s take was that Carney disclosed and “did the right thing”…timing didn’t matter to him because Carney is so “classy” and has such an “impressive” resume….and of course no Boomer conversation would be complete without the mention of…Trump! Trump hasn’t disclosed his conflicts of interest…so carry on Liberals you are doing great. It’s all just so gross. If you have morals/ethics you are a conspiracy theory freak. I’m sick of it all. I knew Carney would be a million times worse than Justin and my father’s media implanted soundbites prove why. 🥲

Don't sit back and let your father think this. I would be livid if my father said this and give him a piece of my mind.

My sentiments exactly! I have tried so many platforms and ways of posting articles on any and all things government related. These are facts presented that has and will affect ALL Canadians.

I can’t get past “government will not allow reposting” as a warning.

Between lack of transparency and foreign interference this (and the past) governing body is so far removed from democracy.

Another fantastic article, thank you! This is perhaps quite belated but it's now struck me that the Liberal party has become every bad thing conservatives have been accused of (rightly or wrongly) for years now. Anyone who supports this and still tries to paint the conservatives as the bad guy are straight-up hypocrites. They are blatantly betraying the values they *claim* to espouse. For some time now I've been thinking the left still views itself as the Rebel Alliance when in fact it's become the Empire. And not a single one of them is bothered by the lack of a functional parliament for almost a year now. THAT is how our democracy dies.

"Canada really needs a leader that claims that "western society is morally rotten, and that it has been corrupted by capitalism, which has brought about a “climate emergency” that threatens life on earth. This, he claims, requires rigid controls on personal freedom, industry and corporate funding."

"Carney draws inspiration from, among others, Marx, Engels and Lenin..."

No wonder GFANZ members are running away in droves. A Saudi pipeline is okay, but not a western one... Only rich people unaffected by ideology like this can believe in its hypocrisy.

Gee, it’s like they prorogued Parliament to avoid exposure of the Green Slush Fund grift, and now they’re replacing it with an even bigger grift, while LARPing around as if they’re implementing all the Tory ideas they appropriated for election gaslighting purposes.

“ This isn't subtle. This isn't

nuanced. This is what a grift looks like-on paper, in public, in black and white. Over one hundred conflicts of interest tied directly to Mark Carney. Entire portfolios of foreign and domestic holdings, billions in green investments, shell companies in Bermuda-and that's before we even get to his

wife's global consultancy work, advising firms that quietly gobble up federal contracts without a single public tender. “

Great work Dan.

So spot on. The Liberals are a scourge on this country. They are so fully corrupted by lust for power that they have forgotten they are elected by the people - in trust - to make independent and wise decisions. They cannot do this since our political party system in Canada imbues all of the power into the hands of the Prime Minister. It is he that controls the country. In this case the power of control lays in the hands of a globalist whose interests and intension is to further sell our country down the drain. The Liberals are not about freedom. They are about control for the benefit of wealthy elites who are empowered to steal the life blood of every hard working citizens of this country. I urge all Canadian voters who support the Liberal Party to re-assess why you continue to vote for those who are intent on destroying your children’s future. Wake up Canada.

And here go. After ten years of incompetence from Trudeau we now have a carefully orchestrated installation of an “economist” prime minister. Carney

A man obsessed with net zero ideology. he has leveraged other people’s money into immensely profitable investments capitalizing on the fear and speculative hope of his clients.

He will not tell the truth.

He concealed his conflicts while boasting of his credentials.

He lied. The electorate accepted it as truth

This massively conflicted charlatan has spent more money it the shortest time frame since becoming liberal leader, than any previous prime minister .

Dan Knight has been consistently correct in his assertions

Right On, Dan! This Boomer knows a grift sandwich when he sees it.

I lived through ALL of the Lieberal bullshit that has occurred since P.E.T. graced our National stage.

I told my wife, when Trudeau 2.0 was elected, with a majority, that the story would end badly for Canada. How badly remains to be seen; Carney is much, much worse than J.T.

Keep lobbing grenades Dan. Sooner or later Canadians will awaken from somnambulance.

Cheers.

Good article. Particularly the lack of in depth, investigative reporting by main stream news. Articles were available such as this one, https://nationalpost.com/opinion/terry-newman-carney-is-a-walking-conflict-of-interest

However, I believe it was largely ignored and overshadowed by people who bought the "elbows up pitch" that Carney would handle Trump better and thats all that would matter.

Alright Jim, let’s cut the sanctimony and get real for a second.

You want to know what “objective evidence” we have that Mark Carney’s not acting out of pure, patriotic selflessness? How about the hundred and three conflicts of interest he forgot to mention until after the election? How about the blind trust we’re not allowed to see? How about the fact that the guy was neck-deep in Brookfield Asset Management—one of the biggest profiteers off the so-called “green transition”—and now, surprise, he’s in charge of handing out the subsidies?

You keep whining about “conspiracy theories” like that means something. That’s not an argument, Jim—it’s a cop-out. It’s the intellectual version of running away on the playground because someone used a bigger word than you. Call it a conspiracy all you want, but it’s documented, it’s disclosed, and it’s deliberately hidden from voters until the ballots were already in the box.

Then there’s Diana—his wife, who just happens to work with Gerald Butts and Evan Solomon at a firm that got millions in untendered federal contracts. But yeah, I’m sure that’s just a coincidence, right? Just another “conspiracy theory,” right Jim?

Let me be clear: you’re not debating. You’re spamming. Six replies in one thread repeating the same limp talking point like it’s going to wear people down into submission. Newsflash: it won’t. What it will do is get you banned if you keep it up. This isn’t your safe space, Jim. You don’t get to flood the zone and silence people who are paying attention.

So here’s the deal: if any Conservative had 103 financial conflicts, foreign business ties, and a wife cashing government checks from Liberal insiders, you and your pals would be screaming “compromised” from the rooftops. But because it’s your guy, your banker, your Davos darling—you call it leadership?

Give me a break. It’s not leadership. It’s a grift, and the only thing genuine here is Liberal shamelessness.

What objective evidence do you have that proves Carney is in fact interested in the welfare of Canada and Canadians? Explain with facts. Both Carney and his wife are completely captured by the net zero ideology. Ask a middle class Brit how that has affected them economically. Explain, with facts, which of Carney's elite globalist ideologies he has decided he will dispense with to the benefit of Canadians. You know what they say, a tiger can't change its stripes.
