I attended our local candidates debate yesterday evening. Perhaps my riding is an anomaly but easily 70% of the attendees were Boomers. Affordability was clearly the #1 issue and the hostility towards the Liberal candidate was palpable. The moderator had difficulty quieting the audience when they reacted negatively to the Liberal talking points. Many retirees in my area are struggling financially and they are angry. The polling demographic trends aren't reflected here.
